(BMC) is a modern, fee paying health facility just off the Gambia’s Senegambia Highway, not far from the tourist resort. It aims to provide professional standards of clinical care and treatment therapies to all its patients using up-to-date, international standard medical equipment, machinery and medications. Bijilo Medical Center/Hospital (BMC) is a non-governmental health facility with the goal of providing comprehensive and affordable quality medical services in The Gambia. BMC is non-profit orientated. Through a series of coordinated support, Dr. Musa Touray, a Gambian citizen who trained in Europe and USA, established the hospital in 2002.
