Welcome to International Community College (ICC). International Community College is a not-for-profit educational establishment registered and accredited by (NAQAA) National Accreditation & Quality Assurance Authority under the ministry of Higher Education. International Community College has been a centre of excellence since its establishment in 2011, offering Certificate, Higher National certificate and Higher National Diploma programs that are regulated by (NAQAA) National Accreditation and Quality Assurance Authority in the Gambia. The qualifications are also endorsed and awarded by QUALIFI in United Kingdom.
International Community college’s efforts are geared towards complementing government’s efforts towards education for all hence it provides affordable tuition fees, creating an effective and well equipped learning environment and finally being socially responsible.
ICC exists to nurture and sustain professional best practices and also provides high quality education and training services appropriate for lifelong learning needs and aspirations. The College believes in a carefully planned and well orchestrated growth strategy and the provision of relevant, reliable and responsible education through its high calibre personnel with both national and international experience.
The college has adequate and up to date learning resources which include physical library and E-library where students can access over 1000 text books, journals and articles. These facilities are provided in order to expose students to contemporary philosophies and professional best practices across diverse fields of study.
The International Community College (ICC) is primarily a business and IT educational institution. The independent institution of learning provides courses in further and higher education for Gambian students. The college aims to achieve their student recruitment policies as per the National Training Authority guidelines.
Courses:
They offer two kinds of courses:-
National Higher Certificate
Programs in Business Management, Computing & Information Technology, Human Resource Management and Marketing.
Higher National Diploma
Programs in Human Resource Management and Marketing.
Admissions Procedure:
Contact their student admissions department who will send you more information on your desired course. If you meet the entry requirements you can then download and print the online application form. After filling in your details you must attach your exam results and any tests scores. These can then be sent to the admissions department via ordinary post or by email.
If the college decides to offer you a place then you will be contacted requesting further documents as well as the payable fees in full. If you meet all the entry requirements then the school will send you a letter acknowledging your place at the college for your desired semester.
The International Community College of The Gambia is accredited and recognised by the the NTA in Banjul.
