The Clay Oven
This has been open for 29 years, established in 1991 by Vimal Shah. This restaurants in The Gambia has two menus, a well established Indian menu and a recently well tried Chinese menu. The Clay Oven takes pride in quality and excellence. There is a large dining area with a semi circular bar, and an outdoor dining area on a wooden deck surrounded by a palm garden and bar. All making a great ambiance to dine in under the stars. “Our own belief is that a truly fine meal is enjoyed not once but three times – in anticipation, in consumption and in remembrance.”
